Leazes Garth is a lovely detached stone cottage, converted from a barn in 1999, situated just outside Allendale Town, Northumberland within the North Pennines AONB. Ideally placed in a rural area, surrounded by rolling countryside and enjoying stunning views across the Allen Valley, this is not a place you want to miss out on. Inside, the barn has been tastefully decorated with a range of modern amenities, whilst retaining a warm and welcoming feel the moment you step inside.
Leazes Garth can sleep six people in three bedrooms: one king-size with en-suite shower room, and another king-size and double served by a family bathroom and ground floor cloakroom. Downstairs has an open-plan living room with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with two sofas and a multi-fuel stove, and another separate lounge. Outside has a private garden and patio area with furniture, where you can sit and enjoy the stunning country views, as well as a large drive for parking. Leazes Garth is a wonderful choice for a rural-based holiday in North Pennines AONB, with country walks just outside the property.
Allendale Town itself has a well stocked supermarket, pubs, cafés, and shops including a butcher, post office and pharmacy.The wider area of the North Pennines AONB is a delightful base for those who enjoy exploring the rural countryside, with plenty of options for walkers and cyclists.
Leazes Garth is also well placed for days out to all that Northumberland has to offer including Hadrians Wall, the sandy beaches of the Northumberland Coast and National Park, all tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.The Lake District is also little more than an hour away.
